Raymond E. Esquibel, 68, of Las Vegas passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014. He was born on Dec. 5, 1945, in Roy to Fidel and Rebecca (Medina) Esquibel, who both precede him in death.Ray enjoyed time in the outdoors, his worship music and love of the Lord. He was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Las Vegas.He is survived by his wife, Cathy; children, Michael (Heather), Evelyn (David), and Aaron (Robin); siblings, Ruby Gonzales, Jose Esquibel and Ernestine Lawrence; grandchildren, Dana, Ty, Michael, Kylie, Emma, Enrique, Aaron, Lucas, Maximus, and Kaleigh.A funeral service for Ray will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Cornerstone Church, Seventh Street and Mountain View). Interment will follow the service at San Antonio Cemetery.
