PORTSMOUTH - Raymond Guy Piet, 80, of Portsmouth, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016, at home with loving family at his bedside. He was born on March 4, 1936, in Stoke Centre, Quebec, Canada, a son of the late Jean-Baptiste and Marie Aldea Philomene (Mercier) Piet. Family members include his wife, Eileen (Trahan) Piet of Portsmouth; his children, Guy R. Piet, Dianne and Christopher Gagnon and his wife, Shauna, all of Manchester and DeAnne West and her husband, Jason of Epping; his sisters, Helene Dalphonse of Lady Lake, Fla., Jeannine Roy and her husband, Andre Roy of Manchester and Susie Boucher and her husband, Marc of Micco, Fla.; he also leaves his eight grandchildren, Kristen, Joey, Crystal, Hannah, Lucas, Christopher, Samantha, and Paige along with one great grandchild Logan and many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his son, Andre Piet and his brothers, John, Jerome, Gilles, Louis and Benoit Piet. SERVICES: Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m., on Friday, December 16, 2016, in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd., Hampton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Saturday, at the Parish of the Transfiguration Church, 107 Alsace St., Manchester. Burial will be in the spring in Mt.
