1/29/1946 - 9/3/2012Raymond passed away at his Somerton home with his family by his side. He was born on January 29, 1946 in Washington D.C. to Autry and Jessie Worden. He was the second of eight children. He joined the Air Force at age 17 where he was trained as a Radar Technician. After the Air Force he worked for Lockheed Martin for 32 years, he was the Range Operations Director until his retirement in 2001. He loved woodworking and spent countless hours working on various projects for family and friends. Raymond was a loving, kind and gentle soul who was loved by many. His Family and Friends will miss him greatly.Raymond is survived by his wife of 27 years; Donna Worden. They shared a unique and loving bond, their sons Jesse (Amy) Worden, Justin (Joy) Worden and John Worden. He is also survived by his sisters, Dee (Fred) Dees, Patty (Joe) Madden, Linda (Dennis) Wenzl; brothers, Layne (Phyllicia) Holland, Michael Powers, Johnny Powers, 10 grandchildren, 6 nieces and 4 nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Autry Worden, mother, Jessie Powers and sister, Andrea Lee Passage.The Family would like to Thank Diane, his home care nurse and Janice, his nurse from Hospice of Yuma for their kindness and compassion.In lieu flowers, donations can made to Hospice of Yuma or the .
