Raymond J. Ramirez was born on March 8, 1975 at Yuma Regional Medical Center. He resided in Minneapolis, Minnesota and recently returned home to the Winterhaven/Yuma area. Raymond had worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs Fire Suppression Crew in 1997/1998 and was a forklift operator/warehouseman while in Minnesota.Raymond is survived by his children, Adriana Bandy, daughter and Alesana, granddaughter, of Yuma, AZ; Rayne, Elijah, and Rayden Ramirez of New Prague, MN. He also leaves behind his mother, Rebecca Ramirez and brother, Stephen Ramirez along with many other family members.Raymond is preceded in death by his great-uncle, Thomas Joaquin and cousin, Michelle Joaquin.Visitation/Memorial will be on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Yuma Mortuary with Quechan tribal rites to follow at 5:00 PM at the Quechan Big House.
