Veteran, a graduate of the Meredith Business College and retired as an inspector from McGraw Edison after 42 years of service. He was a former scorekeeper for the Bishop Rosecrans basketball team. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou (Kurt) Agin of Zanesville; three sons, Dennis Sullivan of Zanesville, David (Geri) Sullivan of Nicholasville, KY and Daniel Sullivan of Dublin, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kory (Carey) Agin of Centerville, Ohio, Alex Sullivan of Hermosa Beach, CA, Jordann Sullivan of Washington, DC and Lauren Sullivan of Lexington, KY; a great grandson, Colson Agin and a great granddaughter, Kameron Agin both of Centerville, Ohio; a brother, Eugene "Carl" Sullivan; and a sister, Juanita Sullivan both of Zanesville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and a special friend, John Dudas.In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Schell) Sullivan whom he married on June 14, 1948 and died April 21, 2011; and a brother, Camillus Sullivan.Friends may call 5 to 8 pm with Christian Vigil at 7:45pm on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Monday, July 29, 2013 at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Ralko as celebrant. Raymond will be laid to rest next to his wife, Betty, at Mt. Olive Cemetery. The United States Army in conjunction with
VFW George Selsam Post #1058 will hold full military honors at the gravesite.
