Pamperin, RaymondRaymond F. Pamperin, age 86, passed away on Monday, Jan 2, 2017 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. He was born on Feb 19, 1930, son of John and Frieda (Kurth) Pamperin in the town of Wayne (Washington Cty), WI. He was married to Marlene Hoepner on Sep 20, 1958, in Mayville, WI. Ray earned a Combat Infantry Badge while serving as a platoon sergeant in the
Korean War, and later started R & L Electric in New London, WI. He owned and operated R & L Electric until his retirement. Ray was involved with singing his entire life as a soloist, church choir member and director, and in numerous barbershop quartets and choruses. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London since 1958, serving the congregation in many different ways.Ray is survived by his wife Marlene; five children: Pamela Pamperin, El Dorado Hills, CA; Cindy (Mark) Richardson, Anchorage, AK; Lance Pamperin, Winneconne; Mary Hamilton, Oshkosh; and Tom (Cathy Statz) Pamperin, Chippewa Falls; his brother Kurt (Karyn) Pamperin, Manawa; sister Margaret Nielson, Stevens Point; and five grandchildren: Blayde and Autumn Pamperin; Renton Hamilton; and Amy and Emma Richardson. Ray is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers John and Walter Pamperin, and sister Marie Schaeffer.Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan 6, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London, WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan 5, from 4-7 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, and also at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
