REATHA A. WOOD, age 87, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on December 15, 1927 in Lawrence County, Ohio to Earl and Martha Fradd Caulley. She retired from the Anderson Restaurant in 1976, and was a member of the South Side Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and reading.

Reatha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mathew E. Wood, her children, Carol Woods, Larry Woods, Penny Wood and Debbie Elkins, siblings, Glen and Grace Caulley, Gary Caulley, Francis Caulley, Phyllis Lester, Rodney Caulley, Earl "Bus" and Barbara Caulley, and Hope and Jim Glazer.

Survivors include her children Doug Woods and special friend, Tami Floyd and Lisa (Beryl) Raypole; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Wayne (Sally) Caulley, Homer (Jeanette) Caulley; in-laws, Joanie Caulley, Ron Lester as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
