Becky was born at Ellsworth Airforce Base Rapid City, SD. She attended East Waterloo High School.

She married John Babcock on July 17, 1998. Together they worked construction jobs, drove semi's and joined the Teamsters Union and worked the pipeline, she loved this career choice and worked it for over 20 years. 

She recently became a Florida  resident and shared great times with many friends at the Frontier Campground in Brooksville , Florida.

She is survived by her son's Nicholas Merrick of Colorado Springs, CO, John Brustkern of Traer, IA, her daughter Alysha Brustkern  (Coty Miller) of Bradgate, IA, her grandchildren Jadalynn, Sydney, Peyton, John, and Jolynn. Her sister Chris Junker Norwalk, IA, and brother Rick (Karen) Newlon Waterloo, IA, 2 nephews and a niece, 2 great nieces , and many other family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her grandparents, parents and husband.

There will be a celebration of life starting at 3 pm at the Washburn Cemetery, then from 5 -7pm at the Chapalas Restaurant  900 LA Porte Rd, Waterloo, IA
