SIDNEY — Rebecca Ann Brandyberry, 63, of Sidney, passed away at 10:32 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1952, in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Donna (Burnside) Boze. On April 4, 1987, she married John E. Brandyberry, who preceded her in death on March 3, 2006.
Rebecca is survived by four children, Kimberly Brandyberry, and Sean (Nichole) Brandyberry, both of Sidney, Mark (Melissa) Brandyberry, of Trophy Club, Texas, and David (Kristi Gruber) Brandyberry, of Hershey, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Jesse, Zachariah, Gracie and Evie; and her sisters, Paula (Gary Miller) McCarty and Kathy (Dale) Brewer.
Mrs. Brandyberry worked as a daycare teacher at the Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City where her kids were everything to her. She was a member of the Connection Point Church of God in Sidney for over 20 years. Rebecca enjoyed live country music and watching her Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers baseball. More than anything she adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with the Rev. Philip K. Chilcote and Pastor Steve Carney officiating. Burial will be at Shelby Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
