Rebecca "Becca" Walker, was born to Virginia and Vernon Walker on September 7, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. She was the eldest of two children the other being her brother Nathan. She grew up in Pasadena, CA., attended her neighborhood schools, and graduated from John Marshall High School in Pasadena, CA. in June of 1988. From there she worked in various fields of employment, attended school in the evenings at Pasadena City College, and raised her son, Jonathan. She loved the little ones and began her teaching career with the San Bernardino Unified School District in 2005 where she has taught the last sixteen years. She always greeted her kids with "Hello My Friends" with her large welcoming and warm smile. The infectious warm and welcoming smile made everyone around her comfortable.
