Reginald Reese, 58, of Portsmouth, Virginia, passed on May 27, 2023. Reginald was born on May 25, 1965 to the union of the late Ernest and Della Bernice Reese. He was called to his eternal rest on May 27, 2023.

He was educated in Clark County and Mobile County Public School Systems. He was a graduate of Cedar Grove Academy and Carver State Technical School (now Bishop State Carver Campus) in Culinary Arts. He was employed with Virginia State Department of Youth Services until he retired in 2015. He became a member of Greater Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Jacob McQueen in 2016. He was a diligent member of the Layman's Department at the Portsmouth Missionary Baptist Church, assisting with the Homeless Ministry, led by Rev. Eugene Perry.

He is proceeded in death by his parents and two brothers, John C. Reese, and Simon B. Reese

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Raven S. Reese, two sons, John S. Reese, and Steven O. Reese; two grandsons, Daniel Reese, and De'ante Reese. Three nieces Lynette J. Reese, Erika W. Lockett, and Brittany M. Mills. and a host of other family and friends.
