Renee A. (Rundberg) Plano 1960 - 2017TOWN OF SCHUYLER, NY - Renée A. (Rundberg) Plano, 57, of Millers Grove Road, passed away on March 27, 2017, at home with her family by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer.A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Renée was born on February 4, 1960, in Herkimer, a daughter of Franz N. Rundberg and the late Irene E. (Perry) Rundberg. She was a graduate of Remsen Central School, Class of 1978. On June 28, 1996, she was united in marriage with James J. Plano in Schuyler. For the past ten years, she was employed as the Village of Middleville Clerk and Treasurer. Renée was of the Methodist faith.She is survived by her husband, Jim; her father, Franz N. Rundberg, a resident of the Masonic Care Community, Utica; three children, Michele and husband, Dominic Miles, of Utica, Michael Dudeck, Jr., of Schuyler, and Crystal and husband, Kevin Martignetti, of Rome; two beloved grandsons, Sean and Ethan Miles; three brothers, Franz A. and Ingrit Rundberg, of Baldwinsville, Nils L. and Linda Rundberg, of Sherrill, and Erik L. Rundberg; Aunt Erma and Butch Gilbert, of Barneveld, Uncle Ira James Perry, of Bullhead City, AZ, and Uncle Warren and Nancy Jo Perry, of Barneveld; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Renée was predeceased by her mother, Irene (Perry) Rundberg, on January 19, 2015; an infant brother, Erik T. Rundberg; and an aunt, Barbara Linck.The family would like to thank Dr. Atul Butala and the staff at Faxton-St. Luke's Regional Cancer Center for their excellent care.Funeral services will be held at the Autenrith Funeral Home, 7479 Main Street, Newport, on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. The Rev. Carl Getz, Pastor of the Trenton United Methodist Church, will officiate. Calling hours will be prior to the funeral on Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Spring interment will take place in Townsend Cemetery, Stittville.Memorials may be made to Team Faith, Hope and Love, in honor of Renée and Irene.
