Rev. Estella Patricia "Tricia" Geathers, of Green Pond, South Carolina, passed away suddenly on June 9, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born on March 12, 1958, to Rev. Jeff and Ella Mae Middleton in Boston, Massachusetts.
Patricia studied at High Park High School in Boston, MA graduating in 1975. After completing high school she attended Barbizon School of Beauty for Cosmotology. She later worked at the Community River Trading Company for many years before relocating to Green Pond, SC.
In September of 1988, Rev. Estella, "Tricia" Middleton married the love of her life, Rev. Allen Geathers, and together they raised up four children; Frederick Geathers, Tony Geathers (Denice Geathers), Michael Allen Geathers ( Dominique Geathers) and Freddie Lee Geathers (Sheila Geathers) all of South Carolina; ten amazing grandchildren: Tiffany, Jaxson, A.J., Sheila, Ashley, Shoundell, Jeremy, Sha'kim, Angel and Nehemiah, all of South Carolina.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading the Bible, Preaching the word, attending service, listening to music, watching television, and spending quality time with her family.
Patricia was preceeded in death by her mother and father, Reverend Jeff Middleton and Ella Mae Middleton; her brothers and sisters: Jerome Maurice Middleton, Sheila Diane Warren, Angela Marie Cobb, Ray Bernard Middleton and Rodger Dean Middleton.
She leaves to mourn her memory her loving husband, Rev. Allen Geathers of Green Pond, SC; her children, grandchildren, sisters: Jessie Mae Powell of Yemassee, SC, Noel Middleton of Marlborough, MA and Vera Middleton of Boston, MA.; her brothers: Jeff Middleton, Sr. of Fall River, MA and Harvey Lee Middleton of Holbrook, MA; her sister-in-laws, Debbie Middleton of Brockton, MA, Rebecca, Stella, Ann, Maggie, Rossa and Lizzie Geathers all of South Carolina; brother-in-laws, Milton Geathers and Clyde Geathers of South Carolina: a host of aunt's, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Trish will be fondly remembered for her infectious laughter, her unwavering love for her family, and her warm and caring nature.
May she light up the heavens and shine bright in the night sky forever looking over us. Rest In Paradise, Trish. We love you.
