We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Rhonda Kevalas (Brett) on May 5, 2024, in North Haven, Connecticut. She was born on May 3, 1960 in Portland, Maine to her parents Peter Stackhouse and Florence Holland. Rhonda was one of seven children and loved all of her brothers and sisters very deeply. She is survived by her husband George Kevalas, her three children Elizabeth Leighton (Daniel Kelly), Richard Carver III, and Ami Carter (J.R. Carter), as well as her three beloved grandchildren Ashley, Adam, and AuBree who were the light of her life.

Rhonda dedicated many years of her life to working at TJ Maxx, where she made lasting friendships and brightened the days of all she encountered. She had a passion for growing an award-winning sunflower garden and enjoyed spending her free time walking on the beaches of Old Orchard Beach and Camp Ellis, Maine.

Rhonda was a loving wife, mother, and mimi who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kind heart, infectious laugh, and warm presence will be forever remembered.
