Richard Scott, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 74 in Columbia, South Carolina. Born on March 7, 1950, to Richard Benjamin Scott Jr and Mary Scott. He married his wife Martha Scott in the year 30 and together they raised two children, Elizabeth and Alexander.

Richard was a proud graduate of Hopkins High School, class of 1968. He dedicated much of his time to helping out at St. Mark Baptist Church, where he was a valued member of the organization. In his spare time, he loved working on cars and could often be found in the garage tinkering away.

Richard leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and those who knew him.
