Richard Greene, beloved resident of Alexandria City, Virginia, passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born on May 25, 1940.

Richard was married to Ollie Greene in 1950 and together they had 10 children: Lucinda Marshall, Jeanne Bass, Rita Frye, Lesa Thomas, Helen Brooks, Johnathan Greene, Lonzo Greene, John Greene, Kim Greene, and Darnell Greene. He was also a proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren.

Richard dedicated many years of his life to working at Alexandria public works, where he eventually retired in 1997. In his free time, he enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his family.

Richard Greene will be remembered for his hard work, his love for his family, and his passion for fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
