We bid a fond farewell to Richard Moore, who passed away on September 2, 2023, in Sandusky, Ohio. Born on April 8, 1957, to loving parents Henry and Sara Moore, Richard brought joy and laughter into the lives of all those who knew him.

Richard married the love of his life, Tony Dorsey/Moore, in the year 35, and together they embarked on an incredible journey. As their family expanded, so did their hearts. Richard and Tony were blessed with five wonderful children: Richard Moore Jr., Kieshia Moore, Tony Moore, Shakalo Dorsey/Moore, and Kiara Moore. Their love created an unbreakable bond that will be cherished forever.

Richard was not just a loving spouse and parent but also a doting grandfather. Although we won't list the names of his nine beloved grandchildren here, know that his love for them knew no bounds. Their laughter and smiles brought immeasurable joy to his life.

Richard's thirst for knowledge led him to Jackson Mississippi High School, where he honed his academic skills and pursued his dreams. This foundation would serve him well in his later endeavors.

Not one to shy away from serving his country, Richard dedicated several years of his life to the US Army. He bravely defended our great nation and made countless memories and lasting friendships along the way.

Richard will be fondly remembered for his infectious sense of humor and his ability to bring people together. Whether it was through his witty jokes, playful banter, or warm smile, he could always brighten up a room.

Richard's untimely passing was due to medical complications. While our hearts ache with his absence, let us take solace in the fact that he lived a full life surrounded by love and laughter.

Richard Moore may have left this world, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace, forever etched in our memories as the lively and loving soul that he was.
