KENOSHA - Richard A. Famous, 83, passed away peacefully Friday, November 2, 2012 at South Winds. He was born on August 20, 1929 to the late Wiley and Fanny Jean (Jackson) Famous in Warren, Arkansas. He was educated in the schools of Arkansas. He entered the US Army on April 30, 1953. He was honorably discharged in January of 1954. Richard worked as a mechanic for many years. Richard loved watching baseball especially the Chicago Cubs and fixing cars. Richard is survived by his brother Hurley (Norma) Barker of Kenosha, his sister Delores Jackson of Kenosha, his children Richard Famous Jr. of Racine, Linda Diane Frazer of Racine, Caroline Famous of Racine, Little Richard Famous of Norfolk, VA and his step- daughter Darzell Famous. He is also survived by a host of grandkids and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by four brothers Arthur L. Famous, Artis Bowie, James Famous and Leon Barker and one sister Maxine Brookins. Home Going services for Richard will be held on Thursday, November 8th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
