Rohrer, Richard A. "Dick"Richard A. "Dick" Rohrer, age 73, of 2710 River Lane, Two Rivers, died Saturday evening, December 26, 2015, with his wife, Annette, at his side, at Atrium Post Acute Care, Two Rivers.Richard was born on May 15, 1942, in Manitowoc, a son of the late Clarence and Helen (Cherney) Rohrer. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1960 and then attended UW-Madison, graduating in 1965 with a business degree. On August 22, 1964, he married the love of his life, Annette Greenwood, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Dick was employed at Marathon Electric in Wausau and Paragon Co. in Two Rivers, where he held several managerial positions. He was a very active member of the City of Two Rivers - giving back to the community that gave him so much. He was involved with the SnoFest Parade annually with the Two Rivers Jaycees, served as the Chairman of the Kiwanis Fish Derby for many years and was the Exulted Ruler of Elks Lodge #1380. Dick was a very dedicated Badger Fan. He was chairperson of Badger Night in Two Rivers - a fund raising event for the Neshotah Charity Fund to assist children in need. He served on the Stewardship and Pastoral Councils at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and was a past president and served on other committees for the Two Rivers City Council and served on the Two Rivers school board. He enjoyed playing bridge, cribbage, sheepshead, poker, golfing and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, who made him proud. He was blessed to have very loyal and loving friends. But most importantly, he loved his wife, Annette and God.Survivors include his wife: Annette Rohrer, Two Rivers; his children: Mark (Kelly) Rohrer, Two Rivers, Michael (Beth) Rohrer, Shanghai, Stacy (Steve) Johnston, Centennial, CO, and Steven (Sandie) Rohrer, Marion, Iowa; and his grandchildren: Zach Worzella, Dylan and Ethan Johnston and Samuel and Maxwell Rohrer. He is further survived by a brother: Thomas (Karen) Rohrer; two sisters-in-law: Kathleen Buvid and Linda Rohrer; and a brother-in-law: Reuben Yana; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother: Robert Rohrer; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: James and Gen Greenwood; Lisa Rohrer, and sister-in-law: Winifred Yana.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation.Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.dejamartin.com.In lieu on other expressions of sympathy, memorials in Dick's name may be made to the Neshotah Charity Fund, P.O.
