Richard Evans Sr, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 77. He was born on April 22, 1946, to his parents Louise Evans and Johnnymae Duncan.

Richard is survived by his two children, Richard Evans Jr (spouse Bianca Evans) and Denise Evans. He also leaves behind five grandchildren. Richard Evans lll, Henry Evans, Riceeha Evans, Jared Evans and Josiah Evans

Richard attended East High School and graduated in 1964. He went on to have a successful career as an airplane technician, retiring in 2013.

Richard had a love for hanging out with his grandchildren, listening to country music, and having cookouts where he could show off his barbecue skills.

Richard will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family, and his passion for good food.
