Richard G. "Rick" Arnold, 56, of South Montrose, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the Endless Mountains Systems. He was born on July 28, 1956 in Binghamton, N.Y., to the late Gerald E. and Elizabeth Grace (Whalen) Arnold.Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Dawn D. (Bishop) Arnold, daughter and son-in-law, Kelly G. and Jeremy J. Arndt, Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Alexander James and Riley Elizabeth Arndt; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Allyn Hinds, Montrose, Robin and Jim Pettigrew, Blanchester, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Kendall and Janet Arnold, Montrose; aunts, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Rick was a former member, secretary and treasurer of the United Fire Company. He worked for over 30 years at Robinson's South Town Market, and on Saturdays he would be delivering groceries to the ladies at the Square. He was a NASCAR enthusiast, a diehard Yankee fan, and also enjoyed camping. When Rick was not working, he could usually be found on his John Deere mower doing what he loved best.Visitations were held Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose. A Funeral Service was held Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Jane Pykus of the South Montrose Community Church, officiating.
