Richard B. Little, 86, of Sheboygan, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Center.Richard was born on March 7, 1930, in Milwaukee, son of Benjamin and Isabel (Ryan) Little. He was a 1948 graduate of Pius High School in Milwaukee. He received his Bachelor's degree from Michigan Technological University and his Master's degree from Bradley University in Peoria. Richard served in the US Army from 1954-1956. On November 14, 1959, he married Isabel Tidmarsh in Peoria. Richard was a 7th and 8th grade math and science teacher for Peoria Public Schools for 27 years until his retirement in 1987. After retirement, Richard continued to teach part time at Illinois Central College for ten years. Richard also raised beef cattle on his farm.Richard was a member of St. Edward Catholic Parish in Chillicothe, IL. He was a member of the Union School Board and Tri-County 4-H Council, and was a Hallock Township Trustee. Richard enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and camping. He grew up on Booth Lake and enjoyed swimming and boating.Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Isabel; his son, Ronald (Diane) Little of Fish Creek; his daughter, Kathleen (Thomas) Palof of Kohler; his son-in-law, Glenn Bellefeuille of Columbia, Maryland; three grandchildren, Matthew and Michelle Bellefeuille, and George Palof; one sister, Marion Guild of Milwaukee; one sister-in-law, Jean (Norm) Blemler of Boise, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Cynthia Bellefeuille, three brothers, Al (Clarice), Jack (Peggy), Bill (Emma) Little, and his brother-in-law, Gordon Guild.Relatives and friends may gather at the Wenig Funeral Home, 711 Broadway, Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:30 am.A memorial service to celebrate Richard's life will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating.
