Richard Becerra, beloved husband of Lisa for 40 laughter-filled years, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Fresno, California. Born on January 27, 1956, Richard led a life filled with joy, humor, and a whole lot of fishing.
Richard was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1975, where he probably spent more time talking about fishing than actually studying. But hey, who can resist the call of the open water?
When Richard wasn't out on the lake, he could be found cracking jokes and bringing smiles to everyone around him. Whether it was a witty one-liner or a well-timed prank, Richard had a knack for lightening the mood and brightening any room he walked into.
His three children, Janette, Vanessa, and Richard, can attest to his unwavering sense of humor and his endless love for his family. And let's not forget his eight grandchildren, who inherited his mischievous spirit and quick wit.
While Richard may no longer be with us, his laughter and love will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him. And who knows, maybe he's up in heaven right now, reeling in the biggest fish anyone has ever seen.
