Richard C. Trujillo, 77, a lifetime resident of Mora passed away on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 in Taos.He was born on Sept. 24, 1939, in Mora to Waldo Trujillo and Refugio Maes Trujillo.He was known to be a hardworking man and very well known. He loved to fish. A Catholic, he was a member of St. Gertrude Church in Mora.He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldo and Refugio Trujillo; sister, Emma Casados; brothers, Patricio Trujillo, Roberto "Luis" Trujillo, Luciano Trujillo and Waldo Trujillo Jr.He is survived by his daughters, Glenda Quintana and friend, Robert Vigil, of Cleveland, Debbie Archuleta and husband, Frank ,of Santa Fe; mother of his daughters, Marie S. Trujillo of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Adrian C. Quintana and Melody M. Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Kayla Rose Quintana and Merika M. Rodriguez; brothers, James Trujillo and wife Elaine of Mesa, Ariz., and Leroy Trujillo of Vadito; aunts, Ida Roper of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Dolores Trujillo of Silver City; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. today (Friday) at St. Gertrude Church in Mora. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday also at St. Gertrude Church in Mora, with Father Paul Grala, SOLT as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mora Cemetery in Mora, with the following serving as casket bearers: Frank Martinez, Fred Bustos, Clifford Trujillo, Ralph Trujillo, Johnny Maes and Andy Martinez.
