(Dellinger) who passed November 20, 2014. Richard was a son of the late Edward H and Myrtle (Krow) Druck.A lifetime resident of Airville, Richard was born on November 3, 1922 and was a U.S.
Army veteran of
WWII serving in European and African Theaters. For his dedication to his country, Richard had been awarded the
Bronze Star. Following his service, he owned and operated a feed mill in Airville and worked at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, retiring from demolition.Richard's bond with his son, Todd, was the most meaningful relationship of his life. They were always together; hunting turkey, pheasants and squirrel or enjoying the outdoors with a fishing pole in-hand. Hiking and returning hours later with bundles of ginseng were Richard's perfect day. He loved his family dearly. In addition, Richard was a member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church.Richard is survived by one son, Todd A. Druck and his wife, Virginia of Airville,; two grandsons, Brandon and Tyler Druck who he loved so very much; as well as many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Donald Druck, Charles Druck, Weldon Druck.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St. Delta.
