Richard Ford HebertStuart, FLRichard Ford Hebert, 81 of Stuart, FL passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his daughter's home in Blairsville, Georgia. He was born on June 18, 1936 in Leominster, Massachusetts to the late Rudolph and Virginia Hebert. Richard graduated with a Business Degree in accounting from USF. He was a proud veteran serving during the
Korean Conflict. He lived in New York City for 40 years where he became a member of SAG-AFTRA. He appeared in several films and television soap operas during the 70's and 80's. He also held several modeling jobs but he was best known for his bass voice. He loved being an entrepreneur and had multiple businesses in both New York City and St. Petersburg, Fl. In 2003, he moved to Stuart, FL to be near his family and grandchildren where he continued to work for a courier company and a catering company. Richard was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Stuart, FL where he sang in the choir. He volunteered at several local churches serving food to the needy and singing in the choir including Immanuel Lutheran Church of Palm City, Redeemer Lutheran Church of Stuart, Trinity United Methodist Church of Jensen Beach and St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Stuart. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Norma Welch, James and Lois Hebert. He lives on in the hearts of his children, Linda Fussell and spouse, Wayne of Blairsville, Ga and Elaine Mulligan and spouse, Pat of Palm City, Fl; grandchildren, Erin, Patrick, and Kelly Mulligan and Morgan Fussell; including many friends and extended family. A celebration of his life will be 3:00 p.m. October 21, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, 1500 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Treasure Coast Hospice.
