Richard G Williams Sr Passed in Peace Monday 2/12/2024
Richard Williams, 72, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on February 12, 2024 after his 8+ year battle with cancer. He was the eldest of three sons born on June 29, 1951. Richard is survived by his loving partner Cass, his children including daughters Christina, Wendy and Sarina, 7 grandchildren, his brothers Donny and David and his mother Norma. Richard was predeceased by his father Charles and grand daughter Olivia . Richard was full of tenacity and perseverance. Driven to succeed he wore many hats as an entrepreneur owning several businesses throughout his life. He possessed a phenomenal work ethic and always gave 110% on whatever project he worked on whether it be pouring concrete steps, project management for shopping mall construction or home improvement and maintenance. Richard had a passion for animals helping and supporting his love Cass with her horse rescue and would take any opportunity to help a fury, feathered or four-legged friend in need at the drop of a dime. He often joked he "liked animals more than people". There were a lucky few people he adored more than animals those of which were his grandkids. Richard was a doting grandpa, fun loving, easy going, he always made sure his grandchildren knew he loved them. Richard possessed many qualities but one of the most admirable was that he was a fighter. Even when he wasn't at his strongest or healthiest he was always cracking jokes. His witty, sarcastic nature kept those who crossed his path smiling and laughing. The world was certainly brighter with Richard around and he will be missed greatly. There are no funeral services or celebration of life planned at this time but in lieu of flowers or if you would like to honor Richard's memory donations are being accepted to a cause that was near and dear to Richard's heart.
