DALLAS - Richard Lee Hayes, 75, passed away at home, with his family at his side, Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016.He was an avid fisherman and he loved to spend time with his family. Richard was unique in that he was the seventh son of the seventh son and he was born on Halloween. Richard worked at Pharr Yarns until he retired. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Richard was the son of the late Ed Hayes and Georgia Webb Hayes. He was also preceded in death by six brothers.Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 30 years, Sandra Hayes; daughters, Leigh Annette Lambert and husband Jay, of Lincolnton, and Rebecca Michelle Hayes, of Dallas; and son, Richard Timothy Hayes, of Dallas. Also remembering Richard are his three brothers, William Marshall Hayes, of Baltimore, Tom Hayes, of Gastonia, and Charles David Hayes, of Dallas.
