We love you! You raised us well! Daddy, when we were little girls you were absolutely Superman to us. Thank you for being a fierce protector, strong provider and even stronger disciplinarian. We wanted for nothing. We couldn't truly appreciate the hard work and sacrifice it took to provide for a family until we experienced life and families of our own.
We were there for you from the beginning as you fought tenaciously through this illness. We stood with you as your body and mind battled and fought to the very end. When you finally gave up, we prayed to the Almighty God because we didn't want to lose you.
We had our precious moments when we talked about the LORD Jesus Christ and your salvation. We encouraged you, comforted you and let you know that you shouldn't be afraid, because you are in God's hands and you will leave this old shell of your body and regain a new glorious one in heaven.
We admired your strong will and how you wanted to stay independent and live in your high rise apartment with the beautiful view in the City of Rockford, Illinois. We envision you waking up looking through your binoculars of the river. We regret we couldn't watch fireworks with you for the last time this year. Rest in peace dad, rejoice and celebrate your beautiful view in heaven with your family and friends. Thank you again Daddy. We love you and we will miss you.
With sincere deep love from your daughters, Anita, Wendy and Julie
