Richard (Rich) James Reese, 65, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on October 5, 2024. He was born on October 21, 1958, in Redford Township to James and Gladys Reese. He is survived by his devoted wife Connie, son Andrew Reese, daughter Lisa Mason, and brother Robert (Robin) Reese, and nephews Mitchel and Chancler Reese. Rich graduated from Redford Union High School in 1978. He furthered his education at Schoolcraft Community college before continuing his education at Central Michigan University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduating, he relocated to Kalamazoo to work for Kalamazoo County Human Services. It was here that he met his true love, Connie. They were married in 2002 and shared a life together with their beloved dog Jasmine. Rich was born with a love for watching and playing sports. As a child, he participated in Little League and hockey. He especially enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings. During his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends. Rich will be remembered for his gentle spirit and his ability to always bring a smile to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
