Today we mourn the loss of a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Richard Holt, who passed away on July 23, 2024, in Talbotton, Georgia. He was born on April 2, 1939, to Ben and Mattie Holt.

Richard was a devoted father to his son Ricky Mathis and a loving grandfather to his grandchild. He was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for his family as a Truck Driver.

Before his career as a truck driver, Richard served his country with honor and courage in the Air Force. His time in the service taught him valuable skills and shaped his character.

Richard was a proud alumni of Central High School where he excelled in his studies and made lasting friendships. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.

Although we grieve his loss, we take comfort in knowing that Richard Holt's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
