Richard Burnell Sr. passed away on January 1, 2024, in Libby, Montana, United States. He was born on April 16, 1960, to Donald Louis Burnell and Ruth Anne Burnell (White). Richard was a beloved partner to Christina Leader Boothman and a devoted father to six children: Whitney Burnell-Keeling, Richard Burnell Jr, Ashley Countryman, Heather Le, Tyler Boothman, and Hanna Boothman.

Richard was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren. Averi, Sophie, and Annebell Keeling.. Shiloh, Julianna, and Everlee burnell.. And Oliver Le.. He was a hardworking individual who studied in Cedar Rapids Community Schools and Pacific High School. Richard dedicated many years of his life to working the docks in Oregon to Driving commercial trucks and end his career at Aluminum Distributors Inc, where he eventually retired in 2017.

Richard had a passion for singing, gardening, and being in nature. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Richard will be remembered for his kind heart, warm spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Richard passed away due to cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, sepsis, and Fornier’s gangrene. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
