Richard M. Dodson, 72, of Bartonville, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2019 in Dallas, Texas.
  He was born on October 16, 1947 in Galveston, Texas to Hazel Farmer Dodson and Richard (Dick) Dodson Sr. He was a proud graduate of the Corsicana High School Class of 1966. On June 30, 1984 he and the love of his life, Nona, were married aboard their sailboat on Cedar Creek Lake.
  Rick was a talented artist, businessman, sailor, hot rodder and lover of bad jokes and the Texas Longhorns. In his final days, he was so happy to visit with so many long-time friends and loved ones.
  He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved Aunt, Bertha Farmer King, and his cousin Robert (Bobby) King.
  He is survived by his wife, Nona; his children, Sean Dodson, and Hope Dodson DeChaume (Justin Bell); and four grandchildren, Colton Dodson, Jordan Dodson, Avery DeChaume & Preston DeChaume.
  Many years ago, Rick made the decision to donate his body to science for medical education and research.
