Richard John Oubre1967 - 2015Richard John Oubre, 47, born on Oct. 30, 1967, a native of Donaldsonville, La., and resident of Charlotte, N.C., died on Sunday, April 19, 2015. He was a graduate of LSU and received his master's degree in Management Information Systems. He was employed with Empowered Benefits as a Sr. Business Analyst. Richard is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Roger Heffron, Kenosha, Wis., and Debbie and Bobby Schexnayder, Donaldsonville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Belinda Oubre, Donaldsonville, Steven and Cindy Oubre, Tualatin, Ore., and Bob and Marcia Oubre, Salvador, Brazil; and ten nieces and nephews, Kenny Oubre, Jr., Kayla (Scott) Bellina, Lee Oubre, Ryan (Shelbi) Schexnayder, Sydney Schexnayder, Ryan (Sheri) Heffron, Ian Heffron, Nicholas Oubre, Patrick Oubre, and Rafaela (Marlon) Menezes.Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil John Oubre and Carmen Robert Oubre Hymel; maternal grandparents, William and Marie Dugas Robert; and paternal grandparents, Maurice and Rita Rome Oubre.Memorial Gathering will be held at 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville. Entombment to follow in church mausoleum.
