LORAINE, Ill. -- Richard Paul Reardon, 65, of Loraine, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Hannibal Regional Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1952, in Kansas City, Mo., a son of Paul James and Julia Frances Halloway Reardon. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He married Donna Maria Marshall on May 16, 2017. She survives. Mr. Reardon retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad. He was of the Catholic faith. In addition to his wife, he is survived by siblings, Patricia (Larry) Trautvetter, Michaelann Shelton, Tim (Sheila) Reardon, Terry (Cheryl) Reardon, Randy (Judy) Reardon, Cindy Long and Andy (Michelle) Reardon; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Paul Shelton. SERVICES: 8:45 a.m. Monday, July 31, at Duker and Haugh Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church in Mendon. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery at the Illinois Veterans Home with military rites conducted at the cemetery. VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at the funeral home.
