Richard Phillip FinanZANESVILLE: Richard Phillip Finan, 58 of Zanesville died at 8:40pm Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on December 17, 1954 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Francis "Frank" T. and Mildred (Burkhart) Finan. Richard was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, an Air Force Veteran and a 15 year employee of Six County & CORE. He is survived by his siblings William (Patricia) Finan of Washington DC and Barbara Finan of Columbus; nephews Sean Finan and Patrick (Kerry) Granfield; niece Erin Granfield; great-nephew Thomas Granfield. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Eugene Finan. There will be no public visitation. A graveside service with Military Honors by the United States Air Force & our local VFW will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 04, 2013 at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fr.
