He was born on May 17, 1956 in Carroll, IowaSteve was a veteran who served in Korea, as did his father. Steve worked for Southwest Slurry Seal for many years and also General Construction in Arizona.He lived and breathed nature and loved spending time fishing, hunting, and golfing. Steve also enjoyed, spending time with his dog, Spike, playing pitch, and scratching lottery tickets. He was an avid New York Yankees and Green Bay Packers fan. Steve will be greatly missed by his family and friends.He is survived by his loving son, Ricky Best; mother, Leta Best; brothers, Gary (Anita) Best and Ray (Karrie) Best; sisters, Linda (Al) Moyle and Marsha (Kelly) Houseman; nieces and nephews, Dylan Best, Robert (Jacki) Best, Matthew Best, Steven Best, David Best, Ryan (Mindy) Moyle, Angie (Josh) Lossner, Keith (Lori) Best, Ryla Best, Roy Best, Mike (Renee) Houseman, C.J.
