Richard was born on September 12, 1928 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Everett and Rowena Weissert Taylor.He was a Real Estate Developer; a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church; a member of the New Lexington Lodge #250, F & AM and the Scottish Rite; Aladdin Shrine Temple; V.F.W., Gideon's International and a veteran of the United States Navy; member of James E. Fisher Post #376, American Legion of Junction City, Ohio.Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy McCoy Taylor of the home and loving son, Rodney Taylor and Fiance', Sarah McNeill of New Lexington.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Richard Taylor and daughter, Renee Taylor.Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm, with Masonic Lodge Service at 6:30pm on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday March 14, 2014 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 201 West Brown Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Pastor Justin VanOrman officiating.
