Richard Thomas Clark passed away on Sat, Oct.13th, 2012 in his home with his wife and family at his side. He was born on Aug. 25th, 1938 in Denver, Co. In 1958, he proudly served 4 years for the U.S. Marines and found himself residing in California. After 1962, he became a member of the Union and went to work for and retired from Bock Construction. Because of his love for sports and for children, he coached Little League with the Optimist Club for 25 years. He enjoyed many fishing trips with family/friends, and regularly spent his time bass fishing with his brother, Jim. Although he was a quiet man, he wore a constant smile, was quick with a joke and had a funny sense of humor. He enjoyed Western movies and was a fan of John Wayne. He met and married his beautiful wife, Irene, in 1975. She was the love of his life and he always took great care of her. Together, they shared 7 children, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He fought a courageous battle and showed tremendous grace when diagnosed with lung cancer in Feb. 2012. He was survived by his loving wife, Irene, of 37 years, along with his two brothers, Jim and Frank. One of his favorite songs was 'It's Such A Pretty World Today'. "He was a simple and ordinary man but so perfect for me! His life mattered and he was important to us." Says his wife and daughters. How to describe the heart of this man? Well....If you love someone enough, you can still hear their laughter after their gone. How blessed we are to have known him.
