Richard Max Trisler Jr. passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, following a short illness. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rambin, La., with Father Joseph Ampatt, pastor of St. George Catholic Church of Coushatta, officiating. Visitation and Rosary: 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at the church. Richard was born on Aug. 21, 1947, in Flagstaff, Ariz. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard Max Trisler Sr. and Mary Janet Verkamp Trisler; his brother, John Charles Trisler; two sisters, Mary Janet Trisler and Catherine Irene Trisler; and one son, Christopher Glenn Trisler. Survivors: His wife, Martha Brooks Alexander Trisler; sister, Carol Trisler Barker of Fort Worth; two sons, Richard Thomas Trisler of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Daniel Max Trisler and wife, Liz, of Portland, Ore.; three daughters, Meaghan "Kate" Trisler Jensen and husband, Sean, of Woodbury, Minn., Rosemary Trisler Wegmann and husband, Brian, of Beaufort, S.C., and Christine Trisler Thompson of Fort Worth; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nephews.
