Richard W. TracySOUTH ZANESVILLE: Richard W. Tracy, 71, of South Zanesville, was called home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2015 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House with his loving daughter by his side.He was born on November 18, 1943 in Zanesville. He was the owner/operator of Tracy Shell & Towing for 30 years. He was a member of the Zanesville American Legion Post 29, Zanesville VFW, and the Zanesville Eagles. He loved to spend time with his family and ride his motorcycles.He is survived by his daughter, Tina Tracy; three grandsons, Ryan Tracy, David "Barry" (Chrystal Priest) Williamson, and Nathan Tracy; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Williamson, Daunte Wallace, Lyrica Tracy, Kendrick Tracy, and Rowan Englehart all of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews; special friends, ex-wife, Alice Tracy and Dixie Norris; special dog, Snapper.He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul W. and Winifred (Fitch) Tracy; daughter, Candy Tracy; son-in-law, Marty Mercer; nephew, Chad Alexander; sister, Adelle Alexander.A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. William Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage is assisting the Tracy family with arrangements.
