Ziebell, RichardRichard C. Ziebell passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Harbor Haven Health & Rehabilitation, after a long battle with cancer. He was 82 years old.He was born on September 22, 1934, a son of Carl and Alice Gyr Ziebell.Richard served in the Marine Corp for two years prior to his marriage.On October 8, 1960, he married Gail Strebe at St. Patrick's Church, Fond du Lac.Richard was employed at Koehn's Foods until he purchased the franchise for Brownberry Bread Bakery. He ran the bakery route until his retirement 26 years later. After his retirement, he owned and operated Body Masters Health Club for eight years. Richard's greatest joy were his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife, Gail; three children: Lori (Joel) Hahn, Richard (Rebecca) Ziebell, and Suzanne (Salvatore) Lazaro; five grandchildren: Carter and Cameron Hahn, Kolby, Jacob and Tyler Ziebell; three step-grandchildren: Salvatore (Tabitha) Lazaro, Katie and Kelly Lazaro; a brother, Bruce (Pat) Ziebell; a sister-in-law, Ellyn Marcoe; two uncles: Roland (Dorothy) Gyr and Leonard Gyr; nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Alice Ziebell; and two sisters: JoAnn Ziebell and Carol Schroeder.VISITATION: The visitation will be from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Road K, Fond du Lac.SERVICE: The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Ledgeview Memorial Park with Ken Huelsman officiating.Entombment will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park.Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory is serving the family, www.kurkimachfuneralchapel.com. 920-921-4420
