Rickey "Rick" J. Reed, Sr.LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Rickey "Rick" J. Reed, Sr., age 68, who died on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Lafayette General Medical Center.Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Deacon Robert Klingman with Holy Cross Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Luci Reed; a daughter, Kelly Cavanaugh and her husband Charles; one grandchild, Kaiser Reed; one sister, Debbie Duhon and a brother William Reed and his wife Priscilla.He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Reed and the former Lucille Florie; and one son, Rickey J. Reed II. Mr. Reed was born on August 10, 1949 and was a lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
