We are saddened to announce the passing of Ricky Simmons, who left this world on December 11, 2025, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Ricky was born on June 14, 1952, and spent his life spreading joy and laughter to all those around him. He was a devoted father to four children - Brittany, Nicholas, Beverly, and Sandy. He also had the joy of being a grandparent to two grandchildren.

Ricky attended North High School where he excelled both academically and socially. After graduating, he pursued his passion for beauty and opened his own beauty store, where he brought smiles to his customers' faces every day.

When he wasn't busy working, Ricky enjoyed spending his free time fishing, soaking in the sunshine, and appreciating the beauty of the world around him.

Ricky will be remembered for his warm smile, contagious laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
