Ricky R. "Ric" GallenbergerRicky R. "Ric" Gallenberger, of 1053 Papago Drive, Bullhead City, AZ, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, November 2, 2013.Ric was born on May 16, 1956 in Manitowoc, son of Norbert and Joyce (DeBauch) Gallenberger. He attended Sacred Heart, Wilson Junior High and Lincoln High School. Ric loved music, a good joke, and a cold beer. His passion was the culinary arts and enjoyed cooking not only for his family, friends and neighbors, but his job as chef for numerous casinos in Laughlin, Nevada. After his early retirement, Ric continued to help out cooking for the Moose Lodge and
VFW club. He was always busy helping someone doing some sort of project. Ric was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to NASCAR events in Las Vegas. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and loved to golf. Ric enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.Survivors include his parents: Norbert (Joyce) Gallenberger, Manitowoc; special mother-in-law: Marilyn Porodish, Manitowoc; former wife: Noel (Jim) Mueller, Manitowoc; daughter and son-in-law: Bridget (David) Van Ginkel; grandchildren: Shaughn and Sheryl Van Ginkel, all of Two Rivers; brother and sister-in-law: Kurt (Bonnie) Gallenberger, Manitowoc; sister: Debra Ramirez, Manitowoc; two special nephews: Kristopher Grover, Manitowoc; Travis Ramirez, Carlsbad, CA; special life-long friends: Tom and Dianne Sowinski; his loving four-legged companion: Freddy, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Ric was preceded in death by his brother: Nestor Gallenberger.A Memorial Service was held in Bullhead City, AZ. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date with internment of his cremated remains at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Online condolences may be expressed at
