Riely Truman Hill Obituary

Apr 29, 1945 - Aug 12, 2024

This obituary is administered by:

A gentle soul that will be missed by many

Riely Hill, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on August 12, 2024, in Washburn, Missouri. He was born on April 29, 1945, to Oscar John Robert Hill and Ruby Jewell Parmer Hill.

Riely was the youngest of 6 siblings (Betty, Tommy, JW, Helen, Robert, Riely). Riely spent most of his life in Houston, Texas, where he met and married his beloved wife, Jan Spencer Hill, in 1985. Riely has a daughter, Heather Hill, and a step-son, Jeff Brown, and many fur babies.

Riely worked at SouthwesternBell/AT&T for 30 year before retiring in 2004. After retiring, Riely, Jan,and Jeff moved to SW Missouri. The beauty of the Ozarks is what brought them here. Riely started working part time for Wal-Mart - first in Jane, MO. and then Pea Ridge, AR. He cherished the friendships he made there, while helping others. Riely was also dedicated to helping others through his involvement with the Camp Funshine Foundation and his service in the Army.

In his free time, Riely enjoyed fishing, going on road trips, and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his warm smile, corny Dad jokes, generous heart, big hugs, and love for life.

Rest in peace, Riely. Your light will continue to shine bright in our hearts.

If you would like to pay your respects, the family will be holding a memorial service at Sisco Funeral Home, in Pea Ridge, Arkansas on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 6pm – 8pm.
