Riley DaleyCarencro - Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Riley Daley, age 88, who passed away Sunday, November 123, 2017 at his residence in Carencro.Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Lafayette. Brother Luther Burney will officiate at the services.Musical selections will be provided by Karen Broussard. The songs will be Coming Home, In the Garden and Amazing Grace.Mr. Daley was born on March 2, 1929 in Lacassine, LA to Vonida Bourque Daley and Offord Daley. He was a long time resident of Carencro. Mr. Daley built oilfield storage tanks, was the former owner of Daley Tower Service and worked for Iberville Parish Sheriff's Department in Water Patrol.Survivors include his wife, Lennie Mae Prather Daley of Carencro; three daughters, Brenda Domingue and her husband, Donald, of Scott, Gwen Dupuis of Lafayette and Romona Lajaunie of Scott; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother. Ray Daley; and one sister, Rosa Mae Guidry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Offord Daley and the former, Vonida Bourque both natives of Kaplan; eight siblings; and two sons-in-law, John Lajaunie and Darrell Dupuis.The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.Pallbearers will be Donald Domingue, Josh Lajaunie, Michael Pool, Brent Bidstrup, Matt Fore and Jamie Sisk.
