Rilla Beth (Howell) SpurlingOctober 9, 1928 - September 25, 2016Rilla Beth was born on October 9, 1928, in Pingree, Idaho, to Oral Wiley Howell and Lorene Walker-Packer Howell of Pocatello, Idaho. She was the oldest of their three children. Rilla Beth passed away quietly in Huntington Beach, California, on September 25, 2016.Beth grew up in Idaho and attended school in Hazelton. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She started a family and later moved to California. Beth moved back to Idaho in 1987 after her mother passed away so she could be close to her father and take care of him until his death in 1993. She worked at Bannock Regional Medical Center for many years. While in Idaho, Beth loved going on long drives and enjoyed going out to dinner with her dad and her sister-in-law.She moved back to California in 2001 to be with her daughter, Marla, and her family in Fountain Valley. There, she enjoyed traveling up and down the coast, driving through the countryside of Napa Valley, and just being with her family. She and Marla later moved to Huntington Beach.Beth enjoyed life. She loved to laugh, but most importantly, she loved family. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and she was a gracious and considerate lady. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She will truly be missed by her friends and family, as she was the heart. Beth is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Oral Garth Howell and Delbert Marv Howell; her son, Terry Douglas Albert; her grandson, Troy Tinsman; and her son-in-law, Damon L. Tinsman. She is survived by her daughter, Marla D. Tinsman, of Huntington Beach, CA; her son, Albert L. Albert, of Oroville, CA; her sister-in-law, Christine Howell, of Bakersfield, CA; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.A graveside service will be held at the Arimo Cemetery in Arimo, Idaho, on October 22, at 4pm.
