Rita Jean Landry BEDFORD -- Rita Jean Landry passed away peacefully Friday, July 28, 2017. FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Thursday August 3, at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral home. Rita, the daughter of Neil and Mary Cook, was born on January 4, 1944, in Camp Gordon, Ga. She was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan with her husband, Lou, who preceded her in passing in 2012. Rita was a devoted woman of faith and was a member at St. Michael's Catholic Church for 34 years. Those preceding Rita in death are her parents, husband and brother Paul Cook. SURVIVORS: Children, Tara Smith and husband Cary, Johndavid Landry and wife ,Nancy Rodriguez, Shelly Hickman and husband, Mark, and Derrek Landry and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Randon Harvey, Hayden Smith and wife Zuly, Ashden Smith, Ashley Schreck and husband Brandon, Jacob Landry, Chase Landry, Kaitlyn Landry, Andrew Morrison, and wife, Brittany, Whitney Tucker and husband, Blake, and Nicolas Atendido; step-grandchildren, Heather Clayton, Mickey Benavides and Eric Benavides; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Smith, Avery Schreck, Urijah Morrison, Jayce Tucker and Cason Tucker; beloved dogs, Freddy, Colt, Indy and Baxter.
