It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Hankins on April 25, 2023.

Rita was born on February 3, 1980, in Courtland, Alabama, and she was known throughout the community for her infectious laugh and kind heart. She was a beloved member of her family and a treasured friend to many.

Some of Rita's favorite things in life included spending time with her family, traveling, trying new restaurants, and reading romance novels. She was also a fan of reality TV shows, and she never missed an episode of "The Bachelor."

Rita had a talent for making people laugh, and she never took herself too seriously. She was always quick with a joke, and her humor was infectious. Her friends and family will always remember her for her fun-loving spirit and her ability to make even the toughest days a little brighter.

Rita will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone who knew her. We will always remember her as a ray of sunshine in our lives.
